Police officers from Bolesławiec and Military Police officers stopped a 24-year-old driver near Świętoszów who had exceeded the speed limit twice within 15 minutes. The first time, by as much as 60 km/h. In a built-up area, the man was driving at 110 km/h. He was stopped and fined PLN 500. He also received 10 penalty points.
After a few minutes, he was stopped again. This time, he exceeded the speed limit by 45 km/h. He received a PLN 300 fine and another 8 penalty points.
As it turned out, the man already had 10 penalty points for other road offences. Within 15 minutes, he received another 18. The young driver will now lose his driving licence. The permitted limit is 24 penalty points.
