On 10 March 2017, children from Municipal Public Preschool No. 4 in Bolesławiec travelled to a Czech preschool in Liberec as part of the EU project “Preschoolers Promote Exercise and Healthy Flavors”, co-financed by the European Union – the European Regional Development Fund and the state budget, with the support of the Nysa Euroregion.
“This was the first meeting of Polish and Czech children. During the visit, they took part in culinary, physical and art activities together with their Czech friends. They had the opportunity to make carrot-and-apple juice, taste it together and demonstrate their sporting skills. The activities took place in a cheerful, pleasant and cordial atmosphere. The preschoolers had a wonderful time and expanded their international connections,” Jolanta Mienculewicz, head of MPP No. 4, reports.
The preschoolers from Bolesławiec are now awaiting a return visit from the Czech children, scheduled for May.
