In the presence of the Marshal of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship Cezary Przybylski, the agreement for the reconstruction of the Osiecznica–motorway interchange (Luboszów) A18–county border (Rudawica) county road was signed by: Bolesławiec County head Karol Stasik, deputy county head Tomasz Gabrysiak, County Treasurer Maria Szydłak and president of Sudeckie Przedsiębiorstwo Robót Drogowych Ewa Meller-Wypych.
Some information about the project. The construction of two new bridges and 22 km of road in the Osiecznica municipality will be possible thanks to the efforts and millions of złoty secured by the authorities of Bolesławiec County. “We have waited for safe bridges for years. The change in quality of life for residents of the Osiecznica municipality and visitors will be dramatic after this project, but unfortunately we have to get through the renovation stage. Let us recall that the largest road investment in the history of Bolesławiec County, which has made access to Świętoszów difficult, will cost PLN 24 million,” county officials say. “The reconstruction will involve demolishing two old bridges located in Świętoszów and building new ones. They will replace the old temporary crossings and significantly improve transport links between Świętoszów, Osiecznica and Bolesławiec, shortening the route by more than 5 km compared with the detour.
