“Her and Him” is a series of artistic activities aimed at showcasing the work of people from Bolesławiec and the surrounding area—both established figures and those just beginning their artistic journey.

All the artistic events במסגרת the project will take place in October and November at Concordia (Orla Street). The vast spaces of the former production halls stimulate the artists’ imagination. The activities will be held every Friday. The programme includes exhibitions, happenings, theatre performances, academic lectures and concerts.

Detailed project programme:

  • 17 October at 6:00 p.m.. The evening will begin with a short concert by saxophonists in Concordia’s car park. The Pokojowy Roman duo (Kinga Pokojowy and Grzegorz Roman) will then present the “Sceny łużkofe” performance, followed by the opening of a photography exhibition featuring works by Kamila Staniszewska, Marta Wysocka, Barbara Bednarowicz, Agnieszka Kryspin, Wiktoria Majchrzak, Sławek Głowacki, Grzegorz Sidorowicz, Ewa and Piotr Ołenicz, and Beata Dudyńska.
  • 24 October at 6:00 p.m.. A happening combined with an exhibition of photography, painting and sculpture. The artists are Martyna Woźnica, Martyna Sidorowicz, Wojtek Hertman, and Martyna and Jacek Osłoński. The works will be accompanied by poetic texts by Łukasz Ludwikowski and Izabela Pajkiert. Visitors will be able to participate actively in the happening.
  • 31 October at 6:00 p.m.. A fireshow by the PironiX group will take place in the square. Barbara Bednarowicz, Justyna Turek, Katarzyna Kłopotek and Edyta Orlińska will present their works by candlelight and to the accompaniment of a string quartet.
  • 7 November at 6:00 p.m.. The exhibition will open with a one-person performance by Ewelina Pankowska. The programme will also include an exhibition of paintings and drawings by Mirosława Bednarowicz, Jagoda Sięgeń, Justyna Turek and Katarzyna Kłopotek. The exhibition will be accompanied by poetic texts by Barbara Pankowska.

Admission to all events is free. The exhibitions can be visited every Saturday and Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
