The campaign is connected with 1 March, the day on which we commemorate the National Day of Remembrance of the Cursed Soldiers. This holiday was established in honour of the soldiers of the armed underground who shed their blood in defence of an independent Poland. By donating blood to everyone in need, we pay tribute to the Unbroken Soldiers. The campaign aims to encourage police officers, particularly members of the PCK Honorary Blood Donors’ Clubs and the Honorary Blood Donors’ Associations of the Republic of Poland operating in services subordinate to the Minister of the Interior and Administration, to organise joint blood drives.

Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters invites everyone willing to join this initiative. Blood collection will be possible from 20 to 24 March, between 09:30 and 13:30, at the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre (pl. Piłsudskiego 1C, Bolesławiec).

When registering to donate blood, donors should inform the medical staff that they wish to donate blood as part of the “spoKREWnieni służbą” blood donation campaign.
