Last December, we reported that Bolesławiec Mayor Piotr Roman said there was a chance that the special-school issue would be resolved within a year. During the December session of the County Council, Maciej Małkowski, a Ziemia Bolesławiecka councillor, announced that if this succeeded, he would give flowers to the local-government officials who had dealt with the matter.

Meanwhile, at the February session of the County Council, County Head Karol Stasik reported that, if everything went well, the special-school issue would not be resolved until 2018. M. Małkowski summed it up as follows: “There will be no flowers.”
