The incident occurred on Thursday, 16 February, at the intersection of Gdańska and Śluzowa streets in Bolesławiec. At approximately 5:50 a.m., a 63-year-old man from Bolesławiec municipality driving a Volkswagen failed to yield the right of way to the driver of a Renault, a 36-year-old resident of Warta Bolesławiecka municipality. A collision occurred, injuring three people in the Renault: the driver and two passengers. All three were taken to hospital.
