– Our plan was to expand the functions carried out in the building at 1 Asnyka Street – says Edyta Bystra, proxy of Antan Development Polska. – Hence the decision to adapt the second floor for a three-star hotel. Our analyses indicate that, despite its existing accommodation base, Bolesławiec needs this type of facility: modern, located right in the city centre and offering an attractive option both for business travellers and for people visiting Bolesławiec as tourists. It will still be some time before the hotel begins accepting guests, and that is only so that everything works perfectly – adds Edyta Bystra.

Hotel Centrum will be able to offer, among other things: 28 rooms (single and double rooms, family rooms and rooms of a higher standard), modern design, high-quality finishing materials, full accessibility for people with disabilities, as well as bright rooms with panoramic windows that will make a stay at Hotel Centrum a true pleasure. The rooms will be equipped with modern audio-visual equipment, a workspace and free access to Wi-Fi.

The hotel is located close to Bolesławiec’s beautiful Old Town, which delights residents and tourists both by day and at night thanks to its unique lighting, recognised at the national level. Bolesławiec won a competition for the best-lit town in Poland with fewer than 70,000 residents. Within a few minutes’ walk are the historic and restored town parks, the historic courthouse, theatre and Museum of Ceramics buildings, and the medieval town walls.

Good restaurants are also nearby, including the Pod Złotym Aniołem restaurant, where Kitchen Revolutions approved by Magda Gessler took place. The Oleńka restaurant in the Old Town is also worth visiting; its menu includes Old Polish dishes, game and cuisine dishes. The bar’s windows offer a beautiful view of Bolesławiec’s Old Town and historic town hall, while the restaurant recommends an extensive wine list featuring beverages from around the world.

A few minutes from the hotel is Bolesławiec’s “Orka” water park. In addition to a 25 m × 16 m sports pool, the pool hall has a recreational area equipped with two water geysers, two water massage cannons, five air massage loungers, a water cascade and a water carousel. There is also a flat, wide and short family slide next to the pool. Those who prefer less physical activity can relax in two hot tubs located in a quiet and discreet area.

Opposite the hotel is a cinema with two air-conditioned screening rooms, a modern DepthQ 3D projection system, Dolby® Digital Surround EX™ sound and a 12 × 6 m silver screen.

Ten minutes from the hotel are Termy Bolesławiec, located in a historic, restored building converted into a wellness and SPA centre. The interior of a former medieval tower has been adapted for use, with a brine pool situated inside. The forged gallery balustrades have also been restored and raised, with Finnish dry and wet saunas and a steam sauna located on the gallery.
As we know, Bolesławiec is a beautiful city with traditions, hosting numerous cultural events. Partnerships with many European cities demonstrate the city’s openness to Europe and mean that foreign visitors and tourists are frequent guests, often choosing this destination for their accommodation. Bolesławiec is focused on development, something that can be noticed at every turn.

The largest event is the annual August Ceramic Festival. Free outdoor concerts, street theatres, activities for children and adults, and Poland’s largest fair of utilitarian ceramics. More than one hundred collectors, over 50 exhibitors, and five days and nights of wonderful entertainment with the best bands in Poland.
