Defeat for the seniors in their first friendly
That same day, the BKS seniors played their first friendly match ahead of the spring round. On the artificial pitch in Żagań, Tomasz Fulczyński’s players faced local side Czarni (Lubusz regional league). The hosts won the friendly 3:0. The goals for the home team were scored by: Dariusz Łojko, Daniel Szkarapat and Sebastian Bogiel.
The Bolesławiec players conceded the first goal in the first half. In the second half, our players pushed higher up the pitch, which left them vulnerable to two successful counterattacks. BKS had its scoring opportunities in the match. Tomasz Fulczyński failed to convert two good chances, heading wide both times. The BKS players also had some complaints about the referee, who disallowed a goal when a Żagań player cleared the ball from the goal. According to the BKS players, the ball had already crossed the goal line when the intervention took place. There were similar doubts over an incident in which the referee failed to notice a home player handling the ball in his own penalty area. Czarni Żagań – BKS 3:0.
