I call on women and men.

Be like Wisłocka: experiment, find your own way, get lost and look for answers. And make love as often as your health allows.

Be like Wisłocka: find that one person, and then a few more if that is what you want, or teach the one person you love how to touch and caress you, so that there may be a little madness and pleasure in this life.

Be like Wisłocka and leave the Church its dead ideas about our sexuality and pleasure in life. Use contraception and have fun to your heart’s content, so that both of you—whether you are two women, two men or a woman and a man—may find pleasure, delight, ecstasy and joy in the closeness of your bodies.

Be like Wisłocka: make love without shame or guilt. Find your way to another person through intimacy. Travel across each other’s bodies with joy. Even if you do not like the same places, there must be at least one such place on the map of your bodies that you will gladly visit together.

Be like Wisłocka: do not listen to the old-fashioned prudes, the pious men and women of every age, priests and sweet little nuns who have cut themselves off from their sexuality and suffer, though not always consciously, and, to make it hurt them less, urge you to suffer alongside them. Life is joy!

Be like Wisłocka: do not give your bodies to any God, because what would he do with your bodies?! Keep them for yourselves and respect them. Bodies are wise and like being caressed and touched!

Have a pleasurable night.

The film “The Art of Loving: The Story of Michalina Wisłocka” can be seen at Forum cinema until 9 February.
