Over the weekend, police officers from the Legnica traffic unit detained three road pirates. On Saturday, 21 January, they caught a 32-year-old Audi driver who had accelerated to 110 km/h, as well as a 28-year-old driving an Opel, whose speedometer showed a similar speed. On Sunday, officers detained a 24-year-old who, while driving an Opel, exceeded the speed limit by 54 km/h. Interestingly, all three were caught by the traffic unit on Jaworzyńska Street.
The detained drivers lost their driving licences for three months, received hefty fines and 10 penalty points each. We appeal for common sense on the road.
