The arson occurred on September 29 at around 6:00 p.m. A passer-by who saw smoke rising above the workshop building of the Zespół Szkół Mechanicznych notified the fire service. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. The damage is minor— a ventilation chimney and 2 m² of roofing felt burned.
It turned out that a group of five boys aged between 10 and 13 had been playing near the building. One of them, aged 10, threw a lit piece of paper into the ventilation duct. The family court will handle the case.
