Ewa Bem will sing accompanied by outstanding musicians: Andrzej Jagodziński on piano, Robert Majewski on trumpet and flugelhorn, Adam Cegielski on double bass, and Czesław “Mały” Bartkowski on drums.

The vocalist has recorded more than 20 albums and performed hundreds of concerts. She is a multiple winner of prestigious music awards, including the Jazz Forum magazine’s Vocalist of the Year award, and a recipient of the Fryderyki awards and an award at the KFPP in Opole. She is called the “Polish Ella Fitzgerald”—a wonderful vocalist and an exceptional personality with impeccable stage manners.

Ewa Bem is one of the most outstanding Polish singers, and in jazz circles she is regarded as the first lady of Polish jazz. She began her career with the Bemibek band, an exceptional formation on the Polish music scene at the time. She has worked with the biggest names in Polish jazz: Wojciech Karolak, Zbyszek Namysłowski, Jan “Ptaszyn” Wróblewski, Marek Bliziński and Henryk Miśkiewicz. Since 1987, with short breaks, she has worked with Andrzej Jagodziński, a pianist, arranger and composer, another great figure on the Polish music scene. The diversity of Ewa Bem’s repertoire is an undeniable asset of her concerts. During the concert in Bolesławiec, in addition to the artist’s greatest hits, we will also hear songs by other Polish performers, such as Andzrej Zaucha, Czesłąw Niemen and Marek Grechuta, as well as the bands Skaldowie and Czerwone Gitary. We warmly invite you.
