It is not difficult to guess that the appearance of the posters is connected with the approaching National Independence Day on 11 November.
On this occasion, activists and supporters of Młodzież Wszechpolska are trying to remind the residents of Lower Silesia that they cannot feel safe in their own homes.
The authors of the posters identify German revisionists and fascists as the source of hatred and conflict. It seems, however, that members of Młodzież Wszechpolska are responsible to an equal degree for setting the two nations against each other.
“This is Poland. Lower Silesia is and will remain Polish. (...) Młodzież Wszechpolska will put an end to these actions.” Posters with this message had already appeared in Bolesławiec, in connection with the anniversary of Germany’s invasion of Poland and the outbreak of World War II. Now, in addition to the posters themselves, detailed information has also been put up about the organization, which refers to the traditions of its namesake from the pre-war period.
