– Maintaining two county offices, as well as the flow of information between them, is costly, explains Karol Stasik, the starosta of Bolesławiec Karol Stasik. Those officials who remained in the so-called round building, including the County Board, will move to the local government’s new headquarters, located on Armii Krajowej Street. (In connection with this move, the parking lot at the latter location will probably be expanded.)

The round building may be sold. Its current valuation is PLN 2.8 million. “If a good buyer is found, we do not rule out a sale,” says K. Stasik. If not, then—also for cost-saving reasons—the building at Piłsudskiego Square will house the Shared Services Centre. We will return to the subject.
