City: Over PLN 800,000, including for sport and culture The Mayor of Bolesławiec has announced open calls for proposals to support the implementation of public tasks by non-governmental organizations and other entities authorized to conduct activities in the public benefit sphere in 2017.
The support covers tasks in the field of physical culture and cultural projects:
- sports clubs providing sports training for children and young people—residents of Bolesławiec aged up to 19, or up to 20 if they are also students at upper-secondary schools, including the organization of sports camps, whose funding may not exceed 20% of the requested grant. Funding for the entire task may not exceed 80% of the total task costs. The planned amount of public funds allocated to the implementation of the above-mentioned task is PLN 235,000
- sports clubs providing sports training for seniors, including participation in competitions organized by entities authorized for the relevant discipline. Funding may not exceed 80% of the total task costs. The planned amount of public funds allocated to the implementation of the above-mentioned task is PLN 160,000
- sports projects organized in Bolesławiec (a minimum of 100 participants). Funding may not exceed 80% of the total task costs. The planned amount of public funds allocated to the implementation of the above-mentioned tasks is PLN 15,000
- sports clubs providing recreational and sports activities for children and young people, residents of Bolesławiec aged up to 19, or up to 20 if they are also students at upper-secondary schools. Funding may not exceed 90% of the total task costs. The planned amount of public funds allocated to the implementation of the above-mentioned task is PLN 60,000
- cultural projects organized in Bolesławiec. The planned amount of public funds allocated to the implementation of the above-mentioned task is PLN 27,000. Funding may not exceed 80% of the total task costs.
The support covers tasks in the field of health protection and leisure activities for children and young people:
- activities related to the prevention and resolution of alcohol-related problems. The planned amount of public funds allocated to the implementation of the above-mentioned task is PLN 105,000, including:
- providing psychological and legal assistance to families affected by alcohol-related problems, particularly protection against domestic violence—PLN 15,000
- preventive activities addressing alcohol-related problems, particularly those aimed at children and young people—PLN 66,000
- supporting initiatives and activities undertaken to address addiction problems—counteracting social exclusion—PLN 24,000
- activities related to preventing drug addiction. The planned amount of public funds allocated to the implementation of the above-mentioned task is PLN 14,000
- social assistance: providing shelter, meals and necessary clothing to homeless people from the city of Bolesławiec. The planned amount of public funds allocated to the implementation of the above-mentioned task is PLN 140,000
- leisure activities for children and young people. The planned amount of public funds allocated to the implementation of the above-mentioned task is PLN 60,000
The amounts specified in the announcement for the implementation of the tasks are based on the draft budget for 2017. They may change after the budget is adopted.
