The incident occurred on Thursday, 8 December, in Wilczy Las (Warta Bolesławiecka municipality). After 10 p.m., a 60-year-old man from Bolesławiec who was driving a Toyota moved into the opposite lane while attempting to overtake a lorry and collided head-on with a Nissan driven by a 33-year-old man from Jawor County. The latter was taken to hospital with a serious leg injury. The 60-year-old who caused the accident had his driving licence confiscated.
