On Independence Day, GKS Gromadka and BKS Bolesławiec played their postponed ninth-round A-class fixture. BKS traveled to Gromadka as league leaders, which further motivated the home GKS players. In the first half, the battle was fought mainly in the middle of the pitch. Bolesławiec had more possession, but were unable to seriously threaten the GKS goal. Paweł Rismmann and Łukasz Graczyk had chances to score, but the first half ended goalless. In addition, BKS player Adrian Popek suffered an injury.
After the change of ends, the fans saw two goals. In the 70th minute, Klaudiusz Bezkorowajny put the hosts ahead, finishing a counterattack and beating Dawid Kizyma. Shortly afterwards, the same player could have increased the lead in a similar fashion, but this time he shot straight at the center of the goal, where the BKS goalkeeper was ready. Near the end of the match, the GKS goalkeeper was injured. The home goalkeeper remained on the pitch for a long while and ultimately had to leave the field of play.
When it seemed that Gromadka would win, BKS equalized. The goal came in the 94th minute. Tomasz Fulczyński took the corner, and Łukasz Graczyk scored with a well-placed header. BKS, who had played a very poor match that day, rescued a draw at the last moment. Next Sunday, at the stadium on Spółdzielcza Street in Bolesławiec, the Bolesławiec side will host GKS Iwiny in their final match of the autumn round. Kick-off is at 11:00.
