On Wednesday, a specialist-intervention patrol of the Municipal Guard discovered a large bonfire on Wałbrzyska Street in Legnica, in the grounds of a storage facility, where municipal and bulky waste was being burned. The perpetrator was fined PLN 500. The burning rubbish was extinguished by the fire brigade.
A short while later, the same patrol intervened on Nowodworska Street. Residents reported irritating and suffocating smoke coming from the chimney of one of the companies. It turned out that impregnated wooden elements were being burned in the boiler room. The matter again ended with a fine.
