The Municipal Police in Bolesławiec reminds residents that, under the regulations, burning waste in building heating systems is prohibited. The ban also applies to plant matter left over from allotment gardens, parks and gardens. Violating the ban may result in a fine of up to PLN 500 or a penalty of up to... PLN 5,000 if the case is referred to court.
During inspections, Municipal Police officers hand out leaflets providing information both about the regulations in force and about the negative impact of burning waste on our environment and health.
