This concerns devices for generating electricity for own needs from solar sources. To this end, the city has established cooperation with a group of other Lower Silesian municipalities and the specialised engineering and design organisation Centrum Technologii Energetycznych.
As part of this year’s competition under the Regional Operational Programme of the Lower Silesian Voivodeship, we intend to obtain funding to subsidise the purchase and installation of photovoltaic panels.
The subsidy may amount to 85 per cent.
At present, we are trying to assess the scale of residents’ interest in this initiative. For this purpose, surveys and preliminary declarations will be collected from interested people. This action is part of identifying needs, which is an essential preparatory stage for developing the project documentation required to obtain the subsidy.
In the near future, we plan to organise an information meeting, at which, together with invited experts, we will explain the programme’s operating principles and residents’ participation options.

- When is photovoltaics a good choice? Technical and energy considerations for photovoltaic installations on buildings, benefits, opportunities, risks and requirements;

- Instructions for completing surveys and declarations used to diagnose the demand for photovoltaic installations in the municipality;
