Bolesławiec City: Another Year Without Property Tax Increases

During the 29th session of the Bolesławiec City Council, the so-called budget-related resolutions concerning property tax rates for 2017 were adopted. Next year, the exemption from property tax for owners and holders of residential buildings or parts thereof, except those used for business activities, as well as for other land, resulting from the resolution of the Bolesławiec City Council of October 29, 2014, will remain in force.

Rates were not increased for:

land related to business activity (PLN 0.88 per 1 sq. m of area)
land under surface waters (PLN 4.51 per 1 ha of area)
other land (PLN 0.45 per 1 sq. m of area)
residential buildings (PLN 0.73 per 1 sq. m of area).

Tax rates were reduced for:

undeveloped land included in the revitalization area, from PLN 3.00 to PLN 2.98
buildings associated with conducting business activity, from PLN 22.86 to PLN 22.66
buildings used for business activity involving the trading of certified seed material, from PLN 10.65 to PLN 10.59
buildings associated with the provision of healthcare services, from PLN 4.63 to PLN 4.61
other buildings, including those used for the paid statutory public-benefit activities of public-benefit organizations, from PLN 7.66 to PLN 7.62.

– This is already the third year in which no property tax will be paid on apartments. This applies to more than 12,000 taxpayers – Bolesławiec mayor Piotr Roman informs. – We have another year without tax increases.
