In mid-October, during an operation codenamed “Quad, cross,” a KPN Forest Guard patrol together with a police officer from Police Station II in Jelenia Góra stopped a motocross rider in the Przełęcz protected area of KPN. The motorcyclist was riding through a forest, destroying nature. The 18-year-old motorcyclist was fined PLN 1,000.
The joint activities of forestry workers and uniformed officers are intended not only to prevent the destruction of nature, but also to make walkers feel safer and stop them from complaining about the noise.
