We are pleased by the growing volume of correspondence from Readers, as this confirms the publication’s readership and the local community’s interest in it. We do not agree with many controversial views, and we will also exercise our right of reply. In this way, we uphold the principles of pluralism and freedom of speech, without aligning ourselves with any political option and while remaining an independent publication within the working structure of TMB and the city and municipality authorities. Our goal is reliable journalistic information; following the dynamic rhythm of social, cultural and economic life on a daily basis; explaining and commenting on the complex phenomena and processes of the contemporary world; creating our local community; and building our small homeland. We are opening our pages ever more widely to councillors, young people and hobbyists. We simply want to be your publication—ordinary, needed, without excessive aspirations or unrealistic ambitions.
