A resident of Bolesławiec, Ms Janina MATYJEWICZ (7/2 Bielska Street), brought an interesting metal composition to the editorial office, on the reverse of which she discovered the “Rodło” symbol. It depicts a centrally positioned head with a plume (halo?) surrounded by a rhythmic floral ornament, highly decorative and executed with exceptional care. The opening at the top indicates that the object could be suspended from a chain or ribbon (a medallion, a necklace element, a decorative accent of a knight’s armor?).
Experts on the subject and interested persons are welcome to bring the mysterious talisman for identification – every Monday from 9:00 to 11:00.
