-The composition of the athletics leagues for the Polish team championships has been determined. MKS Bolesławia, together with Karkonosze Jelenia Góra, will represent our region in the third division.
-Jolanta Anasiewicz of TKKF Bolesławianka, as usual, achieved success in the competition she entered. This time, at the Głogów bench-pressing championships, she took first place in her category with a result of 67.5 kg. Krzysztof Kuśnierzówski also lifted 140 kg in the junior category at 81.2 kg, which earned him fourth place.
-The ZSElektrotechnicznych team won the provincial championship in volleyball among secondary schools. In the final match, they decisively defeated the team from ZS Ogólnokształcących in Kamienna Góra 3–0. Third place in the competition went to LO I in Bolesławiec, which defeated ZSZ Lubań 3–1.
-The fifth Bolesławiec Table Tennis Championships were held in the SP No. 3 gymnasium. Tomasz Konieczny won the junior category, ahead of Piotr Baran, Ryszard Szymański and Jerzy Dąbrowski. Tomasz Boratyński won among the seniors, ahead of Norbert Stolicki, Sławomir Klejbach and Kazimierz Prokowski. Remigiusz Kacperczyk was the best among the older seniors, ahead of Sławomir Respondek, Jan Żuralski and Jan Alianowicz. Forty-three competitors took part in the event.
-The BKS Bolesławiec senior and junior teams began their competition in the inter-district football league. After two defeats, 3–0 against Zjednoczeni Bolków and 3–1 against Piławianka, the seniors then won two matches: 4–0 against Zjednoczeni Żarów (goals: K. Lechowski, R. Stasiak, W. Pałka and D. Hałka) and 2–0 against Ślęza Wrocław (goals: T. Fulczyński and K. Lechowski). Supported by BKS sponsors Ognik-Ekspcrt and PPH "ALEX", the senior team is performing increasingly well.
-The juniors made a better start. They began with a 2–1 away victory over Moto Jelcz Oława, with goals by Marcin Paluszek and Robert Nitarski. In the second match, they drew 1–1 with Ślęza in Wrocław, with Marek Dąbrowski scoring. In the third match, played at home on the guest ground of the Military Unit, they defeated Sparta Ziębice 2–0, with goals by Daniel Giza and Robert Nitarski.
-Due to illness, M. Jednoróg had to resign from managing the junior team. Marian Szewerda took over his duties.
-In their next Polish Cup match at provincial level, BKS footballers defeated local side Gryf 2–1 (1–1) in Gryfów. Both goals were scored by Marcin Grzegorzewski.
-The BKS volleyball players concluded their competition in the inter-provincial league. In their final match, they lost at home to second-placed Księginki Lubań 1–3 and 0–3, finishing fourth in the league table.
-The BKS youth basketball players, coached by Jarosław Leszczyński, also concluded their season. In their final match, they played ASPRO, the league leaders, in Wrocław and lost 24–97. T. Szumaehowski scored the most points in the match, 11.
-The BKS 11 team won the tournament for B-class football teams held in Łąka, defeating LZS Łąka 4–3 on penalties in the final.
-Andrzej Gałąszczak, popularly known in sporting circles as "Andrzejek", the masseur and paramedic of the BKS Bolesławiec senior team, celebrated 25 years of voluntary work at the Club in April. Many congratulations.
