On 17 March, the school went wild: the spontaneously initiated “Concert for Krzysiu” finally took place. The concert organizers received a warm response for the musical performances, dance routines, recitations, cabaret acts and more, presented by the students of Primary School No. 8 in Bolesławiec. And all of this was for Krzysiu, a Year 2a student—a child suffering from leukemia. The concert was preceded by a series of campaigns organized by the school’s students.
Collections conducted by older students among the entire school community and the teachers. Paid discos with attractions and competitions organized by the young people, while teachers took responsibility for supervising the students having fun; they spontaneously, voluntarily and with great commitment to the cause contributed their own “little hearts.”
The whole effort was rounded off by the wonderful “Concert for Krzysiu,” showing that we are not insensitive, that we have good hearts and want to help.
A Heart for Krzysiu
