For several months, various people have been appearing in our town collecting money for poor children or an orphanage. These people present “strange” documents and laminated notices, and they are not residents of our town. Even if they are collecting money in good faith (for example, by distributing crossword puzzles), the money in no form reaches our children or the organizations that provide assistance. It also does not reach the orphanage in Bolesławiec.
Please carefully check the documents authorizing collections. If you have any doubts, please contact organizations in our town by telephone (PCK: 31 58 and TPD: 47 47).
Currently, the Polish Red Cross in Bolesławiec, together with school students, is conducting a collection whose proceeds will be used to pay for meals for poor children.
