Do you want to protect yourself and your loved ones from a heart attack or stroke? Are you worried about anaemia or dangerous blood diseases? Do you not know how to prepare for an important event such as childbirth? The hospital in Bolesławiec is here to help.
At a special promotional point set up from 21 to 23 August opposite the District Office building on Asnyka Street, staff of the Health Care Centre in Bolesławiec will enable visitors to have their blood glucose, blood pressure and pulse measured, as well as undergo lipid profile and complete blood count tests.
The white tent where the promotion will be held will also serve as an information point. Visitors will find information about the clinics operating at the hospital and learn about the medical services offered by the institution.
Not everyone knows that the hospital in Bolesławiec runs a childbirth school. Every expectant mother will be able to make sure that she is well prepared for the journey to the hospital and for the birth itself. Experienced midwives will explain how to care for a newborn properly and answer other questions that may be troubling visitors.
Regardless of the age or length of motherhood of women from Bolesławiec, a breast cancer prevention campaign will be held with their health in mind. A demonstration of breast self-examination techniques will help protect them from this dangerous disease.
The lipid profile and complete blood count tests will be available upon presentation of a special coupon, which can be obtained from the hospital’s consultants. On each of the three days of the point’s operation, visitors will be able to obtain one of the 100 coupons prepared by the hospital.
