The environmental campaign "CLEANING UP THE WORLD" has already become a tradition and is producing good, visible-to-the-naked-eye effects. Let us just recall that the idea's author is a Polish woman, a resident of Australia. In Bolesławiec, all schools, preschools, MOSiR, scouts, the military and cultural institution employees took part in it. The city authorities provided 1,000 large bags, 3,000 pairs of gloves and 2,000 so-called plastic shopping bags free of charge, while the Voivodeship Office additionally provided another 920 waste bags.
If only people would stop littering every day as well...
