At the weekend (8–10 August), the final round of the Polish Motorcycle Racing Championships was held in Poznań. Mariusz Durynek put in a very successful performance in the GSX-R 1000 class. In the final race of the season, the Bolesławiec resident crossed the finish line in third place (behind Jakub Derecki and Paweł Żuralski). Third place in the final race and an earlier victory (13 July) allowed Mariusz to retain second place in the overall standings.
A month earlier, in an interview with the IstotneInformacje.pl portal, Mariusz announced that he would fight to retain second place. The Bolesławiec resident kept his word and finished the motorcycle competition second in Poland. The new Polish Vice-Champion is delighted with his success and announces that next year he will compete in the Roockie class.
