In a year, I will be finishing primary school, but already today I have found my life’s passion in computers, and I would like to write a few sentences about them.
The 20th century is drawing to a close, and the world is entering the age of computerization. In a dozen or perhaps just a few years, everyone will have their own computer—helpful in everything we do. Why not prepare for this already today? After all, a computerized world is not such a distant dream... We can confidently say that in the year 2000, a computer will be as common as abacuses once were!
The contemporary computer market offers a great many types of these devices, such as the AMIGA, IBM, and even the COMMODORE 64. It is difficult to choose just one. When making a choice, it is worth considering what task the computer is supposed to perform. In principle, the most universal is the IBM, thanks to its large memory and ease of use, as well as the wide selection of software available for it. In short, it is a computer for everyone. The AMIGA is excellent for games because of its high resolution and ease of use.
The COMMODORE seems optimal, but because it was manufactured some time ago, I would rather not recommend it. I would also like to address the issue of software. If someone is interested in games, it is a matter of taste: some like adventure games, others strategy games, and still others arcade games or a mixture of them (a compilation). When it comes to utility programs, it is worth seeking the opinions of sellers or specialists. Choosing a computer or programs is not an easy decision, but it is worth trying. Using this device has become a true passion for me and many of my friends... Greetings to the Editorial Office -
FROM THE EDITORIAL OFFICE. If readers become interested in computer-related topics, we will create a regular section in “Glos” and ask specialists in this field—including young people—to contribute.
