In the December issue of "Głos Bolesławca," we appealed to the city’s residents and pioneers—those who lived and worked here in the early years and contributed to rebuilding and establishing Polish statehood in Bolesławiec. Now we would like to renew that appeal. At the same time, we would like to present our readers with another proposal. Many people born here in Bolesławiec completed school, left to study at universities, and work—often in various positions—in Poland and around the world. There are many university professors, politicians, actors, musicians, and prominent clergy, including in the Vatican.
Please write to us with brief information about them: where they are, what they do, and what positions they hold. We will publish information about them. This will provide material for possible future research on the people of Bolesławiec. By the time 50 years have passed since Bolesławiec’s return to Poland, it will be possible to compile a substantial chronicle from this material. We will try to persuade them to become honorary members of the Towarzystwo Miłośników Bolesławca.
