At a parents’ meeting, it was decided that during the first week of the school holidays, “Fun-Filled Holidays” would be held at the school. Last year, the parents and teaching staff had “Fun-Filled Holidays,” because they carried out renovations at the school.
This year, for three days, Beata Waszkiewicz came to us from the Municipal Culture and Sport Centre in Kruszyn. She led wonderful activities with us. We travelled with her through various enchanted, colourful lands and learned different songs, even in English. We also learned many new games, such as Shark, Fisherman and Fish, and a trip to Hollywood. We transformed into robots, monsters, secret agents, mannequins and more. There was a lot of laughter. We created a group project about the situation in the world. Our classroom was redecorated in a different way every now and then.
We had a wonderful time with Beata and thank her for coming to us.
During the following days, we also had wonderful activities with our school teachers. There was a meeting with Mrs “Grammar Orta”; we solved rebuses and riddles. We decided to present the solutions in drawings. We painted a group work measuring 7 metres in length, which decorated the walls of the classroom. The activities took place from 10:00 to 14:00, with a break for breakfast. During the second week, we had time to relax, visit family and do activities at home.
We will remember these holidays very fondly.
