In one month, the post-competition exhibition of the 9th Nationwide Review of Youth Photography ’94 will open in the gallery of the Bolesławiec Cultural Centre. The commissioner of the review was MIKOŁAJ JANKOWSKI, president of the Bolesławiec Photographic Society, who secured many prominent sponsors for the event: the Ministry of Culture and Art, the Ministry of National Education, and the Ministry of Environmental Protection, Natural Resources and Forestry.
The exhibition will present works by young photographers in two age categories: up to 15 years old (9 people) and up to 25 years old (47 people). The second prize was awarded to PAWEŁ BRZEZICKI, a resident of Bolesławiec (the other winners come from Rybnik, Świdnica, Kraków and Białystok). Alongside the most interesting photographs and the authors’ names, the carefully published catalogue includes several apt thoughts by Edward Hartwig, a master of the craft. We quote: “There is no recipe for creativity. What matters is personal culture, talent, passion and individuality.”
