It is difficult to say whether this is a harbinger of spring, but one fact remains indisputable: Bolesławiec joined the Sudetic Tourism Promotion Agency with a contribution of PLN 5,000 (50 shares) as a founding member. In the presence of a notary, the document was signed, among others, by members of the City Board – councillor Stanisław Andrusieczko and councillor Paweł Śliwko. The other founding members of SAP i T are: the Polish Tourism Promotion Agency, the Jelenia Góra Voivode, the Karkonosze Regional Development Agency and five cities: Bolesławiec, Lubań, Jeżów Sudecki, Gryfów SI. and Lubomierz. A total of 1,300 shares were contributed. Robert Szuber from Jelenia Góra was selected as the agency’s president through a competition, defeating 10 other candidates. The town on the Bóbr has the largest number of shares compared with the other cities. Ms Krystyna Cisowska joined the Supervisory Board.
