We record, in chronological order, other comments, motions and interpellations by city councillors. Councillor ANDRZEJ CHODYRA called for the modernization and supplementation of vertical street signage in the city, especially at locations considered particularly dangerous. Councillor ANTONI SKOBLIŃSKI was concerned about what he considered the late date for preparing the 1995 municipal budget and the time required for its adoption by the City Council.
Councillor PIOTR ROMAN, who spoke repeatedly during the session and was serving as Acting Chairman of the Voivodeship Self-Government Assembly in Jelenia Górka, drew attention to legal rulings by the Supreme Court that prevent the application of a favourable discount when selling apartments. The issue will be examined and analysed by the Municipal Infrastructure Committee. The possibility of comparing solutions used in other cities is of indisputable practical value, hence the interest in the councillor’s remarks and opinions.
Councillor PAWEŁ ŚLIWKO insisted on the need to hard-surface the road to the “Serbonowo” allotment gardens, proposing inexpensive solutions. He also called for the creation of a Museum of the City’s History—following the example of the achievements of two local schools, No. 4 and No. 8—and declared his willingness to help. He also reported the urgent need to renovate the stairwells and install automatic power cut-off switches on Teatralna Street (motion by M. Modl).
