The shortest session of the City Council in Bolesławiec took place on 29 December 1994 and lasted... several minutes. The council adopted a resolution on changes to the city budget; specifically, the councillors increased the planned revenue by PLN 816,500,000 and increased budget expenditure by the same amount. As a result, among other things, land in the Matejki housing estate (PLN 130 million) and the Przylesie housing estate (PLN 170 million) will be equipped with utilities at a cost of PLN 300 million. Attendance was good – 27 councillors were present (out of 32), and they all voted in favour of adopting the budget amendments. Their discipline, sense of social responsibility and efficient organisation of the proceedings of the sixth session deserve congratulations.
