If all people of good will, as well as plants, companies, wholesalers, businesses and institutions, were to donate a little money more boldly and generously toward purchasing a surgical device called a laparoscope, which makes it possible to perform operations in an almost "bloodless" manner and, at the same time, more safely for patients’ health, we could have this device at our Hospital later this year or right at the beginning of the new year. The Hospital has received a promise from the Ministry of Health that, if a specified amount is raised, the Ministry will contribute the remaining funds.
The members of the Social Committee for the Purchase of Medical Equipment report that approximately 200 million is still needed. This is a truly small amount, provided, of course, that everyone contributes toward it.
