1. After eight matches, the BKS Bolesławiec junior team playing in the interdistrict league occupies fourth place with 9 points;
2. In the match in Oleśnica, junior captain Marek Dąbrowski scored three goals in a match won 4–3. He scored the first goal in the very first minute of the game, directly from a corner kick – a goal rarely seen on league pitches!
3. BKS seniors still occupy a distant position in the interdistrict league table. After 10 matches, with 7 points, they are in 14th place.
4. A complete novelty in Bolesławiec’s sports scene is match sponsorship. This form was adopted by OGNIK – EKSPERT, which financed the BKS – Śląsk, Parasol Wrocław football match. BKS players rallied and gave their sponsor a 2–1 victory over a strong opponent from Wrocław. The goals were scored by S. Stulin and P. Rosik.
5. In the ZSZ gymnasium on Kom. Par. Street, BKS volleyball players began their competition in the interdistrict league. It was a successful start, with coach Jerzy Nastula’s team recording its first two 3–0 victories over Ołavia Oława.
6. In addition to the BKS seniors and juniors playing in the interdistrict league, juniors and youth players are also competing in the provincial league. The younger and older youth teams moved up to a higher age category this year, playing against opponents approximately two years older. For now, they are losing, but gaining valuable experience. Coach M. Grzegorzewski singles out Sławek Kulbida and captain Jarosław Dmuchowski for their good play.
7. The older juniors / coach Z. Błaszczak / play better away, where they won 2–1 in Lubań against the strong Łużyce team, which was a competition favorite. S. Berendt scored the goal. The younger juniors perform better at home, where they defeated Nysa Zgorzelec 1–0.
8. Kamil Giza from Bolesławiec, currently a player for AZS Wrocław in table tennis, is competing in the II senior league. On October 1, 1994, he took part in a regional classification tournament in Strzelin and finished second. He will take part in the national junior tournament. Good luck!!
9. Finally, an interesting refereeing fact. The BKS–Lechia Dzierżoniów junior match was officiated by a trio of referees from Jelenia Góra: Czesław Krchuć, Jan Matuszek and Edward Krzyżanowski, who have already “blown the whistle” in more than 1,000 matches!!!!, including as many as 3,164 football matches in total!!!
