On 26 May 1994, a test in FIRST AID was held. The test was organized by the subject teacher, mgr Jan Blacha. A total of 140 students from the second year of the Vocational School and Technical School took part in the test. The students demonstrated practical first-aid skills in everyday-life situations such as fainting, lack of breathing, fractures, hemorrhaging, dressing wounds, and traumatic shock. Students of the first year of the Post-Secondary Medical Study in Bolesławiec helped conduct the test in terms of its substantive content and the provision of medical equipment. The prizes were funded by the Education Curatorium in Jelenia Góra, the PCK Field Office in Bolesławiec, and the Parents’ Council at the Mechanical Schools Complex in Bolesławiec. Students who received positive grades obtained certificates confirming completion of the Specialist Course for First-Aid Responders.
