I lay on a vast, fragrant
meadow
The sun tickled my nose
the flowers told me where
love had hidden
I got up and began to run
The trees pointed the way
forming an avenue of greenery
Whispers came from all around
Strange sounds troubling the heart
Love had hidden in the oak
It was its soul, heart and breath
I sat down
I fell in love with its shadow
the rustling of its leaves
its wisdom and old age
