"...In addition to watching the Winter Olympics, we experienced the joys of this year’s winter ourselves. Sleds and skis came in handy. When more snow fell, our parents organized a sleigh ride for us. We also improved our swimming skills at the indoor pool in Bolesławiec.
The nicest surprise was organized for us by the Municipal Culture and Sport Centre. The activities under the slogan “Winter Break Without Boredom” left us with many memories. We went to school, but not because we had to—we wanted to. It was only three days, but three days of wonderful fun. Mrs. Beata Waszkiewicz had an inexhaustible supply of ideas, so no one was bored even for a moment. What happened cannot be described. You simply had to experience it. We thank the organizers for organizing our winter holiday time so well..."
(Students of the Primary School in Kraśnik Górny)
"...Those three days filled with games and competitions were wonderful. I managed to take first place in drawing a spider from “The Kiss of the Tarantula... ”
(Sylwia Szyszka, Grade 5)
"...The days spent at school during the winter break were “great.” Mrs. Beata tried to make us laugh and entertain us like a circus clown, and she succeeded with top marks. I will not forget the folk dance of the “whites”..."
(Urszula Lewandowska, Grade 5)
"...I have never had a winter break like this. I would like to go on the “trip to Hollywood” again next year as well... "
(Justyna Konik, Grade 5)
"...The most interesting thing—in my opinion—was the game involving colorful countries. While we were painting ourselves different colors, we were bursting with laughter... "
(Patrycja Lewandowska, Grade 3)
"...I liked all the games and competitions. We had a lot of fun while being pulled under the green blanket. It was a game called “the shark pulls you in”..."
(Grażyna Lewandowska, Grade 3)
