The Meeting of Lower Silesian Regionalists was recently held at the Club of the Silesian Military District in Wrocław. Our voivodeship was represented by delegates from the Towarzystwo Miłośników Bolesławca (mgr Zygmunt Brusiło – president of TMB, mgr Zdzisław Mirecki – chair of the TMB Audit Committee), Gryfów, Lwówek and Wleń.
The meeting was devoted, among other things, to preparations by regional associations to participate in elections to local government. The Dolnośląskie Towarzystwo Społeczno-Kulturalne in Wrocław proposed that the 4th Silesian Regional Meeting be held in Jeleniogórskie Voivodeship, due to the significant contribution of our region to regional activities.
