On 18 December 1993, in the cafeteria of BFFiA "Polfa," the Polish Red Cross presented Christmas packages to 60 children invited from all schools in Bolesławiec. The distribution of the packages was preceded by refreshments. The packages were given to children from low-income families. Twenty food and fruit packages were also prepared for people living alone. The manager of the PCK Field Office, Ms Danuta Zielińska, took the opportunity to thank all the sponsors and donors, without whose assistance this pre-Christmas humanitarian gesture would have been impossible.
