At the “Kasztelańska” restaurant, Mrs. Teresa Skorupa organized a Christmas Eve dinner on December 24 for pensioners, disability-benefit recipients, people living alone and those with limited means. Around 40 people sat down to enjoy tasty Christmas Eve dishes. Before the traditional sharing of the Christmas wafer, a prayer of thanksgiving and greetings were delivered by Dean Prelate Priest Władysław Rączka. Christmas carols were also sung. The warm, heartfelt atmosphere brought genuine tears of emotion to the eyes of some participants in the Christmas Eve dinner. The attendees warmly thanked Mrs. Teresa for her kind heart and, additionally presented with small Christmas packages, returned to their homes. Unfortunately, in several cases these were homes deprived of family warmth and prosperity.
