Recently, much has been said and written about protecting animals from these people, from the cold in winter and the heat in summer. Every one of us, when passing a homeless dog or cat, pays no attention to it. Only a few sometimes put out a bowl of milk or leftovers from dinner. But there are also people who do not remain indifferent to this problem, establishing shelters or refuges for animals. Such an undertaking requires a huge amount of funding, and we all know what the financial situation in our country is like.
We, too, can help improve the situation of animals by providing financial support to shelters and refuges.
Liceum Ogólnokształcące nr 1 did not leave this matter unattended. A fundraiser for the animals in Celestynów was organized by Professor Stopnicka and Professor Klementowicz. Thanks to this assistance, the animals will have food and heated rooms for the next three difficult months, and, above all, three more months of life. Without this help, 250 dogs and 150 cats would have been put to sleep, and our school does not want to allow that. Therefore, I appeal to everyone to contribute small donations (give up fries or chewing gum once) to help save lives and ensure the residents of Celestynów a dignified existence. Money can be paid in the offices of every school, which will then forward it to LO nr 1. Also, take care of the animals in your surroundings.
