PARENTS!
A child’s gullibility and naivety are often the cause of trouble. That is why it is essential to develop in children a reflex of distrust toward strangers. You must do everything possible to keep your children safe. At the same time, try to consider and follow our advice:
- absolutely forbid children to accept any gifts or sweets from strangers, go away with strangers, or get into vehicles driven by strangers;
- teach your children not to open the door to strangers when you are away from home, even if they are acquaintances or other children. Forbid them from opening the door via the intercom if the person calling is a stranger;
- do not reveal to children where valuables are kept in the home. Do not discuss your earnings, planned investments or purchases in their presence;
- do everything possible to ensure that children’s games are safe. Teach children to be prudent, but be cautious yourselves as well;
- carefully choose the route your child will take to school. Teach children how to move safely on the roads;
- try to access all publications concerning children, their upbringing and safety;
- always pay attention to the behaviour of children and their friends. Do not downplay your children’s problems.
REMEMBER THAT A CHILD IS ALSO A HUMAN BEING, JUST A LITTLE SMALLER!
