We have already informed our readers that, thanks to the generosity of workplaces, companies, businesses and individuals, a cardiac ultrasound machine worth more than half a billion złotys was purchased and handed over to the hospital in Bolesławiec. However, all the necessary parts and equipment have not yet been obtained, and the fundraising campaign is still continuing. Purchasing it before 1 July was necessary because of VAT, after its introduction the device would have been much more expensive. The Social Committee for the Purchase of the Cardiac Ultrasound Machine sincerely thanks the following additional donors: the employees of BZMO, the “Wizów” Chemical Plants, the PKS Company and Mr Ignacy Kwik.
