At the 12th World Junior Athletics Championships, which are taking place in Bydgoszcz, Jacek Nabożny competed in his signature event—the decathlon. The MKS Bolesłavia athlete completed the 1 500 m in 4:40.52, thereby setting a new personal best.

In the overall championship standings, our athlete scored 7,314 points and secured an excellent seventh place. This is the greatest achievement in the history of athletics in Bolesławiec!

Jacek Nabożny is one of Bolesławiec’s most talented and decorated athletes. He won the silver medal in the heptathlon at the 2007 Polish Indoor Championships in Spała and took fourth place in the decathlon at the National Youth Olympics in Łódź. In June this year, he won the Polish decathlon championship title.
